Can we get daily updates in the forums of work being done to fix the issues?

I wouldn’t begrudge them if they had said something instead of leaving a helpless community manager behind.

@Aqshy

Can we get a heads up if there will be an uppdate this week?

Not sure if there will be a community update this week; will ask; but I suspect it’ll be after we have a bit more sharks in the office.

Happy new year !
We will never have so many 2s again

It’d be nice to have a small stuff pipeline set up along the main processes maybe ?

Maybe there already is but I feel a lot of small stuff could be addressed quicker.
Like the stamina curios not applying their value for example. There might be some real technical conundrum there what do I know.
Or the +exp on curios really.

Also, good luck with the forum backlash of not having significant out before 3 weeks ahah (look, somewhere somehow, this is funny).

Wait, do you mean to say that many of the devs are still on holiday? Christmas and New Year are over, it’s time to get cracking before that review score descends any further!

If this were my company, I’d have everyone in for immediate crisis talks. Releasing a product, doing minimal work on it, and then going on a lengthy vacation is just poor form. But hey, what do I know, I’ve been back at work since Tuesday last week. :man_shrugging:

I understand its holiday’s in Sweden. But being left in the dark is bit disheartening. Darktide is the one of the best games i have ever played. Pre-ordered it sunked in 442h in it. I really want this game to flourish and become even better. Some clarification from development team would go a long way. Just a crumb of hope honestly.

Barely anyone except for essential workers work during the holidays in Sweden. There is absolutely no way that a company could even attempt to force other types of workers to work during the holidays as they would have hell to pay with the unions + the workers would just leave for a company not run by asshats.

Then they shouldn’t have released their game right before a two week mandated shutdown.

releasing it in jan or feb isnt a good idea for them since most games release early spring and then they ahve to compete in the market

Releasing in November, and then going on an extended vacation in December and January, isn’t exactly working out too well either.

@Senith no it isnt, should have released october or so and had two months of updates to make a stable game for the winter break, would have done them better sale wise

Tbf the original announced release date was a month before the release date we got, so the original plan wouldve been to have a month more post release care before the holidays… ontop of plans for a more complete release i would imagine.

The release period was rough but it was hardly as intentional as some people make it out to be, just FS being overly optimistic about how much they could get done between the end of march and now.

i doubt any progress was made in that 1 month delay, should have delayed till at least jan at that point

I don’t think either delay was utilised correctly. I hate to use the word “slacking”, but at this point you do start to wonder.

“We might have an update about news about the updates which were supposed to roll out last month later next week” is the least heartening possible response.

Ouch, you can feel the disappointment. Its almost palpable.

HAHAHa

lol i forgot swedens holidays go to the 6th so yeah haha

They should have said from the start that they were going on vacation, like the developers of Hunt: Showdown. then there would be less resentment.

@Broken i like how the hunt team gives an update every year when everyone’s off
