Game gives me error message when I want to start it, stating that there is an issue when trying to connect to servers and that I should check my internet connection. For testing purposes I then started Darktide and was able to play. So therefore I suspect that this is Vermintide 2 specific. Can you look into that and fix please?
To determine if the issue is local network/ISP-related, are you able to temporary hook your Xbox up to a mobile data connection and check to see if the error persists?
Thanks for the quick response. I did they the usual TS steps, like restarting the console as well as my router. Connecting to mobile doesn’t change the issue. Please note that I am able to play other online games like Darktide, so therefore I believe that this is directly related to Vermintide 2 itself. Hope that helps.
I see! Thanks for the update. One other thing to try on your end, would be to delete your local save data (in case this has been corrupted and is causing a conflict in some way when trying to connect). Please note deleting your local save data will delete any Offline mode progress (Online mode progress is stored safely on our servers however), and reset any custom settings.
I now was able to get access to the online mode of Vermintide 2 without making any changes? Can’t tell if you guys did something on your end or what caused that. I will monitor the situation and update you here if it occurs again.
Also, when sending TS steps like in your last response, please provide guidance on how to accomplish them, as I am not very tech savvy and English isn’t my first language.

I’m glad to hear that the issue appears to have resolved. We didn’t do anything on our end, so it’s likely to have been a temporary connectivity issue of sorts.
Here’s steps on how to delete your local save data if you need them in the future:
Go to ‘My Games & Apps’
Highlight ‘Warhammer: Vermintide 2’
Press the ‘Menu’ button (three lines),
Select ‘Manage Game & Add-ons’
Then ‘Saved data’
Then choose your profile to select ‘Delete from console’
