Bulwark shield hitbox - give us a visual or fix it

As it was shown in this post, The hitbox should NOT be taking into account if im in front or behind the bulwark but rather stay on the damn shield only.
If i hit the ogryn in the body fair and square, why am i denied the damage? its not fair and it feels horrible. Its even worse when they’re being knocked down, it practically depends on luck if my hits to the body will deal damage or not.
This “working as intended” hitbox was reported a year ago, and its still around.
If you want them to keep the 180 degrees shield, fine by me BUT then at least GIVE US A VISUAL, give them an actual 180 shield or make the shield expel some nurgle filth or whatever. Not an invisible wall.

This problem gets extremely infuriating when there are 2-4 bulwarks all clumped up. They are getting stunned, but my shots to their head are getting blocked by the shield next to them resulting in basically them being impossible to hit unless someone has damage that ignores shields.

Also while we’re at it, let us shoot through the tiny eye gap in the shield. Reward skillful play.

Yeah, it’s pretty crummy to clearly shoot it in the side of the head, only for the game to go “lol nope” and deny you your damage.

I’m sure they can justify this design with some balance talk, but damn, does it feel bad.

“feeling” is an important part of the gameplay experience.
Even just reducing the protected angle slightly, so it roughly corresponds with the shield, would go a long way towards making it less annoying.
