They are so deafening and tinnitus inducing but somehow, I find myself missing them.
Well they were closer to real life sound than those in v2

I can’t say that I’d actually noticed the difference, but I suppose there is considerably less bass/concussive blasting with the new ones. I’d guess this is probably so that you can still hear the rest of the game; close to real life or not, the new ones probably fit better into gameplay.
Then again, given that I didn’t notice, I guess I’d prefer the more concussive sound… not that it matters a ton, but it was quite satisfying to listen to.
