Not sure if this is intended behavior but I felt like a dope throwing a box at a spawn chewing a friendly only for nothing to happen. It saves players from BoN so I thought the interaction would stay consistent for the enemy group.
Noticed this as well. I agree that this should be changed.

Even regular grenades from the vet would free you from the BoN but doesn’t if it’s the choas spawn knawing on you.
That should work the same on both monsters; vet grenades should free you from the chaos spawn
I saw a Vet save a teammate earlier from a Spawn with a grenade. The new faster underhand throw is somewhat useful for placing it directly where you need it because the max blast radius that actually stuns bosses is only like 2m. I have similar issues trying to get them to knock back attacking DHs. And with the return of double bleed nades (thank you fat shark patches…) you’d be dumb NOT to bounce a grenade off an Unyielding type’s head and inflict 16 bleed stacks by the time it blows up.
