Can you please make it so that bots do not use the Medicae Stations if real players are hurt?
Since they rush in, stand in fire and try to inspect the underside of crusher’s mauls mid swing… it usually doesn’t go that well.
Better yet. Let bots heal once (1 time!) for free, regardless of charge. You can make this lore-plausible by skinning them as servitors, thus using other means of repairs.
This would also separate them visually from players.
Also for the love of the Emperor make it so they refuse to shoot Poxbursters. Even if it takes changing the code for bots so they think Poxbursters are allies, that would still better than bots shooting bursters while players are performing the push attack the devs designed for them to do.
Bonus points if the bot blows a poxburster on you and then eats all the heals.
I’d love a votekick system for bots quite frankly, even if only for private games.
Buggers refuse to go down when you’re trying to get them killed but somehow camp the med station and heal repeatedly while being wailed on.
Some very basic “ifs” in the code should cut down on them stealing all the heals.
Yeah, the bots in this game are insanely bad. I think Fatshark really needs to stop with trying to have them sub for players and start treating them as inherently different. If you can’t code them to not stand in the bad, then make them immune to it. I had a game with Tox Gas earlier, and they just KEPT standing in it, even if I moved away.
Would make sense. If entirely different you could even have them using their own versions of skills.
But then again, an ad mech class is something that is wanted by the community as something you can play. I guess you could go with that servitors being lobotomized and can’t really “think”, and thus the player class would be something like a skitarii.
This problem is very visible in Mortis. While you are waiting for other players, the bots, having received one wound, use all the supplies of the medical station.
