I’m not posting this into the bug section because I’m not 100% sure if this is a bug or whatever.
But does Deadly Accurate even work at all on the bolt pistol?
The tier 4 DA blessing says “+100% Critical Weak Spot Damage.”
And the bolt pistol does 1090 damage against maniac on a critical headshot.
But when I shot at a tox flamer in the psykanium the maximum damage a critical headshot did was only 1090, but shouldn’t it be 2180 damage on a crit headshot?
I tested this on both the scab flamer, dreg rager and scab rager as well and it gave the same 1090 result as well
This blessing increases critical weakspot multiplier and not your final damage output. On this screen you can see that critical weakspot hit deals twice more damage than a body shot. So it means that critical weakspot multiplier is 2.0.
With the blessing the multiplier is 3.0 so you deal three times more damage than a body shot.
It’s actually 50% damage increase instead of 100%.
Any +critical damage or +weakspot damage blessing/talent works the same.
So the entire tooltip is basically wrong?
These tooltips are the just a pain in the ass at this point because it feels like half of them are wrong and other 50% doesn’t even explain everything what the blessing does.
It’s not wrong but it doesn’t explain how it actually works. I recommend Enhanced Descriptions mod or Kuli’s guides on Steam if you want to understand what blessings and talents really do. You can also check how damage numbers are affected by blessings on Breakpoint Calculator though it hasn’t been updated since last year.
