Since the new update, 05/12/2022, the game just goes to a blank black screen with no sound for eternity on launching from the xbox app on pc through gamepass. I have already tried updating graphics card, closing overlays (nvidia and xbox), changing the games settings, restarting, and verifying game files. This never happened before the update.
Try a clean reinstallation of your drivers instead of simply updating, it can help a lot:
I’m afraid this hasn’t helped the situation. It definitely started with the update on the 5th.

Looking at the task manager it seems to just immediately go to ‘not responding’.
Would be nice to get more feedback…
