Blackout blitz generation does not work properly with Chem Toxin. Chem Toxin kills does not count towards the 20 kills. I tested without chem toxins and the grenade generates after 20 kills. With chem toxin (Bone Saw), it took more than 20 kills to get the grenade back.
Steps to Reproduce (Required):
Enter Meat Grinder
Throw Blackout bomb away (not on enemies)
Kill 20 enemies with Bone Saw or with Coated Weaponry talent (let some die to chem toxin).
necroposting to confirm this bug is currently still in play and to add specifics to which chem toxins are affected:
chem dots from the bone saw, the shivs’ throwing shiv, as well as those from the traits “booby trap,” “coated weaponry,” and “pocket toxin” do not generate grenade regen ticks when they deal the final blow with their toxin dot.
curiously, the needle pistol does work to increase the grenade generation charges through close kills made with its dot.
additionally, i am not certain but i think that oneshotting an enemy with a blow that would also also apply a chem toxin (ie, boom bringer + pocket toxin) does not consider the enemy that died to have been under the effects of a chem toxin (for traits such as sample collector and toxic renewal). this one is significantly harder to test from the playerside of things, though, so i’ve been having difficulty confirming it.
