Issue Description (Required):
When Ogryn uses the Big Box of Hurt grenade, the explosion consistently results in significant spikes in CPU Busy time. This appears to impact performance, especially when multiple grenades are used in quick succession or in high-density combat scenarios.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Load into a mission with Ogryn equipped with Big Box of Hurt grenades.
- Throw one or more grenades into a group of enemies.
- Observe CPU usage during and immediately after the explosion(s).
Here is an example with my normal settings:
- The top orange graph represents FPS.
- The second orange graph shows frame time.
- The green/red graph shows CPU Busy and GPU Busy.
Note: The graphs do not have labeled scales, but both the frame time and CPU/GPU Busy graphs range from 0–100 ms. The FPS and frame time graphs update in near real-time, while the CPU/GPU Busy graph updates in 1000 ms chunks.
During the explosion, frame time and CPU Busy spike to 25–50+ ms.
Attempted Solutions (Optional):
I tried reducing all settings to minimal but have the same results:
Frametime and CPU busy spikes to 25-50ms.
