I was banned for 2 weeks due to bad behaviour. Can I get a reason as to why? Maybe someone can reach out too me and explain it.

Two first time posts, welcome!

I’m gonna stay quiet this time guys, these “two” seem like fun.
I bet bro typed the N word and says idk what the issue is
I’ve played 450 hours now, and the most d*ckish thing I’ve said in game was “R quells peril” to a psyker who continuously blew themselves up.
What is your definition of being a d*ck sometimes?
We really don’t get that many posts of “why am I banned?” here till recently.
There’s a support ticket system so I’m pretty sure this isn’t the proper avenue to get help with this.
Go to technical support for this one.
“General Discussion” - is really not the place where problems like this are being solved
This here is the Dota 2 ban/low prio appeal community, all over again!
Naggers?
That’s because patch 15 introduced the “you got banned” message. Prior to that it was just a generic connection error message.
- If a player has been banned, a ban error message should now be displayed instead of a generic backend error while trying to login.
Literally typed out what I was thinking, but wasn’t going to say.
Seems a tide of Darkness has reached our community and is being uprooted by people writing support tickets.

Naggers?
My N.

That’s because up until recently, you’d get a connection error message if you were banned. One of the recent patches introduced the “you got banned” message.
Wait really? That’s hilarious.
Fatshark lowkey gaslighting banned players for over a year. Just like those error messages you used to get when actually being votekicked.

Edited my previous post, patch 15 included this change:
- If a player has been banned, a ban error message should now be displayed instead of a generic backend error while trying to login.
So yea.
So, is FatShark really dealing with those unfriendly players?
That’s good, the fatshark doesn’t seem to do nothing.
Maybe there’s some judgment problem in this, but it’s better than doing nothing.

He can be a bit of a dĂck, sure, but if that was a bannable offence then you’d have no playerbase. Hope someone can get back to him and sort this soon, we want to kill the new hard mode bosses.
Obviously I can’t comment on the OP or what they did. I’m also not going to start inventing excuses to attack OP by imagining random scenarios that they must’ve done or said or whatever like some do, because obviously I just don’t know. That would make me no better than them.
But what you said was just wrong. Most people aren’t dicks at all in games, ever. And I do mean ever. Verbally attacking someone else especially over something like a coop game of all things is never ok. It makes no difference if the internet culture or tons of other toxic gaming communities do it. It wouldn’t even matter if a full 8bn of the current 8.1bn people on this planet behaved like that. It would still be wrong.
Be better than that. And if you can’t then stick to playing with friends or just single player games instead. Anyone who can’t treat people with basic common human decency deserves their bans. Critique and advice is ok ofc, but how you present them matters. Random insults aren’t it. And ruining someone else’s day or even week because of a single mistake, or even just a misunderstanding, needs to have consequences.

Doesn’t bode well then! “Griefing teammates” seems to have a low bar here, such as for example activating stealth ability. Thinking we’ll see more of these bans as people get a bit salty.
Maybe a RocketLeague chat system would benefit the angst. That way players can choose to receive no messages, just pre-scripted ones (like “affirmative”, “Over there”), or can go full chat with profanity filter (or not).

He can be a bit of a dĂck
Gave me a giggle there.
All ban systems are automated, probably got mass reported. If legit or frivolous we will never know.
If he was banned for being “a bit of a d1ck” to, or even around, strangers then I have no sympathy at all and am glad about this ban.
If he was in a completely private game with people he knows and wasnt reported by them and only banned by an automated bot then I am absolutely against this ban.
If I was in a totally private party with friends, we should be able to say anything we want.
If with strangers or even semi-random lfgs or pre-mades were in that party, I hope he learns his lesson that public is public and private is private.
Thats my 2 pennies for my thoughts.
