Asus Aura

Issue Summary:
Asus Aura is detected by the EAC as some sort of cheat.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Run Asus Aura
  2. Open Vermintide 2
  3. Error and log will appear.

Reproduction Rate (Choose One):
Once
Rare (< 10%)
Unusual (< 25%)
Common (< 50%)
Often (< 75%)
Constant (100%) This

Additional Information:
Only been happening since the beta patch, unsure what’s causing it. As soon as I end the lighting service task that Aura uses, I am able to play the game normally.DxDiag.txt (88.8 KB)

I have queried this with Easy Anti-Cheat in the past and requested it’s whitelisted but unfortunately Asus Aura uses an old, exploitable driver, meaning this isn’t something they can whitelist at this time.

Thank you for the response Julia, that’s unfortunate but at least it’s a minor inconvenience and you’ve already attempted to fix the issue before.
