They do, but both the resistance and damage negation is to a much lesser degree than Plague Marines. The Admonition Champions and the Dregs in general, other than the Ragers, don’t even look particularly corrupted.
For what the bosses are (traitor Guard officers with refractor fields), they’re pretty appropriate on their own. The problem is they shouldn’t just be on their own, they should be directing their subordinates and…commanding, not just trying to smash your face in. They should be making all the other enemies act more coherently and dangerously, and they don’t do that.
Okkk.
Yes, there should be a “personal guard” for the traitor champion.
Would be cool.
This is an old counter-argument: in a 20-30 minute mission (YMMV), a lot of people will get pissy about “time-lost” if the last boss is truly challenging.
It can definitely be a buzz kill to lose at the very end. However on the other side of the coin having such a pathetic fight that hardly ever lasts over a minute is incredibly anti climatic.
Completely fair, but victory was sweeter (and sweatier) when the Chasm boss fight was more challenging.
Though I did see a greenbeard back in the day position a propane tank between themselves and the boss and down himself.
Valkyrie helicopter boss. Shoots rockets, deploys troops, all that sheit
LMAO.
I hope we have a smarter Valkyrie boss.
