typical tactic around here when it doesn’t fit your narrative
That someone tells me something it doesn’t mean I’m automatically convinced by their argument.
Slipper Customer isn’t the reason why I fail on HS, at this point none of my builds even use it. I die because I make a mistake or because of the general pressure.
The “proof” you are talking about is a one test in a controlled environment showing the state of things after the patch. We cannot do the same for the old game build, because have no access to it. I had multiple cases of PB explosions hitting me from “outside” the apparent range before the patch too. That’s the weight of the provided “proof” for me. The same applies to the Auspex scanning. Before the patch you had to constantly fiddle with your angle and distance to complete the scan. But lets assume both bugs are valid. This would not prove that there is a bigger issue behind those two bugs.
Hive Scum has a couple of issues with its talents, and its harder to survive bs situations on. There is limited access to options for: TDR, CDR and toughness over time. People aren’t used to this and the class. This make people feel like there must something wrong with the class.
I mean, surely it cannot be us, the players and the class design to blame for? /sarcasm.
i’ve been playing hive scum and haven’t seen any of these issues yet.
its possible they tweaked client authority reduced it a bit and its pushed some people out , or fiddled with the tick rate done something to make the connection more sensitive.
when he showed the dog dodge fail i think he hit the wall , pox bursters not pulling the cord is not new they always done that if you push too early.
the rest of it looks like issues with the connection , the upside particularly
Great video, i can’t wait for Fatshark to swiftly address all these problems a couple years from now by disregarding every evidence and introducing more bugs instead
The only one of these that are new is auspex, and that’s due to a problem in the auspex code itself. Bursters jumping outside of push radius, enemies hitting you when they aren’t targeting you has been in the game since launch
If we have code to prove it, great, that is an actual proof and not confirmation bias.
It’s hilarious, i’m facing an enemy and the game is like WARNING BACKSTAB SOUND, but no one’s behind, it’s the enemy i’m facing
It’s so great to know Fatshark is going to leave the game in this state for the next two months
And right when we could have had an influx of new players
A Fatshark classic, incompetence at its best
Sorry I’m late to the party, I’m only now catching up with my @s!
You’ve probably already seen this, but:
