Are Grimoires Designed Poorly?

Yeah. Grims are not worth the penalty of first receiving a huge chunk of corruption, then keep getting more corruption overtime & taking up the inventory slot. For 3310 extra credits & 690 exp on Heresy difficulty

  1. Remove the corruption overtime or the corruption you receive for picking it up.
Alternative, everyone loses a chunk of health but only the player that is holding the grim receive corruption overtime.
Alternative 2, no penalty beside taking up one inventory slot & ignore point 2.

  2. If grim adds corruption they should give much more credits & also give crafting materials. The exp do not matter because when you hit 30 there is no point in experience.

  3. The “pickup X grimes” contract should not just count the one you pick up but for the whole group. Making people fight for the pickup is a really bad idea. Same thing with Scriptures.

I think grimoires should change in the way they work, like carry one or two and there is a greater chance for bad things to appear and hurt you like that new daemon possessor thing, rather than this corruption that eats across wound bars and make you hurt irl.

Grimoires are effectively pointless in their current form. Massive risk, minimal reward, and the time you spend looking for, carrying, and protecting the grims are better spent just doing another mission. Plus there is always the risk of defending them all game, just for them to die at the end.
