What the hell are those mission board changes.

Just give us mission and modifier selection.

Fatshark is literally trying everything in their power to not give people what they want.

This is kinda funny because they’re still doing the stupid salami-slicing (unless I’m wrong about what I’m reading here). Now you can pick missions, effectively (since all missions at all difficulties are available) but not modifiers.

I guess in 2026 they’ll allow us to pick those finally.

Mission board changes: all missions currently in rotation will now be available at every difficulty level. This update significantly broadens the mission selection for players at any tier, offering greater variety and more meaningful choice when deciding how (and where) to fight.

Yes! Letting us play the difficulty we want is great! Please extend this to Havoc where we should be able to pick anything from 1 to current assignment rank.

We haven’t fully decided if we will charge for new and upcoming classes, but that is an option we are discussing. This isn’t our way of trying to bait and switch anyone. Fatshark has always prided itself on being very player-centric. We want to stay true to that in our monetization practices. We never intend to split our player base - you can expect in-game content, such as new areas, game modes, and missions, to remain free. We’ve learned a lot, and we think we have done a good job in Vermintide with our monetization of cosmetics and careers, and we are looking to that and other areas of feedback before we make a final decision.

The fact that theyre making it so you have to showcase skill in order to progress through the difficulties is amazing. Theyre finally doing something about noobs flying up to damnation and running to auric and maelstrom as fast as they can. So many people are gonna be pissed about that lololol. Finally we wont be stuck playing with people 4 difficulties beyond where they should be.
