So after the last update pushed my AMD self out of the game for a few days, I was angry, and came here to vent. I wasn’t trolling or posting anything out-of-line, but I was spewing some negativity.
I wanted to offer up a reasonable apology to the forum mods for my reaction. A reasonable apology, because I do feel some of my anger was justified, but my actions afterwards were a bit unnecessary, and whingey.
I’ve realized why I was so angry, and it has to do with the quality of the game itself. In my opinion, the game is amazing. The core gameplay has this effect on me, that when I play, it’s a massive stress relief. It’s therapeutic in a fashion, and since I’ve started playing I’ve come to use it as a way to unwind after a hard day. It’s the best bloody stress ball I’ve ever squeezed. When it wasn’t available, instead of finding something else to do, I went all stupid and posted a bunch of repetitive complaints. One or two posts would have been enough lol.
Anyway, sorry for that. But do know that my anger came from the heart, because I love playing your game so much, I was mad when I couldn’t.

It sucks that you aren’t enjoying the game, but I don’t feel the same way as you do. My complaint was being locked out completely. I don’t find the maps boring, I enjoy the flow. Just finished the new mission and it was great in my opinion. Sure I don’t like the craft locks, but I’m not really upset about things like that.
I’m not looking for constant new. It’s not a sub game so I’m okay with slower content rollout than I would be for something I am paying for every month. I’ve already gotten more than 4 hours of fun for every dollar I spent on the game.
I come from the arcade generation where you would spend $10 in quarters every Saturday to play the same Q-Bert, or Gauntlet game loops, and we loved it. We didn’t sit in the arcade complaining about content, we just played the games, happily. Coming from that might be what makes me more satisfied with something like this. I also enjoy chess, and that game hasn’t had a major update since 1860.
It’s nice that you’re enjoying the game as it is. Unfortunately a lot of us joined up cause Fatshark promised constant new and a living experience.
I’ve also never understood the rush to justify the release with past experiences lol. Like I grew up playing games on my Gateway computer that occasionally didn’t work but those companies shipping faulty product doesn’t excuse Fatshark doing so decades later.
People are mad cause they didn’t get what was sold to them.
