An Actual Easy Way to fix havoc if they wanna keep the stup-interesting deranking mechanic

With the New “Fix” for havoc a few important dynamics have shifted.

Previously, players were discouraged from helping those at lower ranks, as doing so risked losing their charges.
Now unless you are bored or doing a penance, you simply just don’t have any incentive to do so.

YEY

Noob/boosted rank 40 players now have the benefit of never having their rank decay. I can’t even imagine how the low level, non-mic users are dealing with this.

This system feels particularly unfair to anyone who isn’t already at Rank 40. It’s no surprise that many content creators may welcome this update, they’ve already secured Rank 40 the first WEEK Nightmare & Visions was online, often with full comms teams, and are therefore unaffected by these limitations. Meanwhile, the broader player base is left with fewer tools to progress.

But anyway how to fix it? how can this be improved while still keeping the spirit of the new system intact and actually rewarding player effort?

Well with time, time is the biggest resource we put on this game. I know the team milking for the Aquilas might disagree.

You have 2 options, and they could even be implemented together:

Make it so that the Charges refreshes daily—or at the very least, offers a way for players to earn back charges through consistent gameplay.

This would encourage regular logins, players would log everyday to use their charges, and foster ongoing engagement without punishing failure so harshly

or even better

Make it so that any havoc level can refresh 1 charge.

Allow players to recover a charge by completing any Havoc level. This way, even Rank 40 players could invest 30–50 minutes to earn another attempt at higher difficulty content. If they fail, they’ve still dedicated around 90–120 minutes of gameplay in total, which feels like a fair and meaningful investment.

This approach makes the system feel more balanced and rewarding. It encourages players to engage across all ranks, helps maintain an active and cooperative player base, and makes losses feel earned rather than punitive. It also provides a reason for higher-ranked players to return to lower-level content—adding life back into the earlier stages of Havoc.

And yes, this could even open the door to bringing back the deranking system, you can just blame it on the boosted 40 havoc players, who no longer have to put in consistent effort.

I already have my havoc examplar why should i play the lower level ones? welp that solves it.

It’s a simple, fair, and effective solution that could enhance the system for everyone involved.
