What a complete mess the new 24.6.1 drivers is for this specific game.
7900 xtx, constant micro stutter dips from 120 to 30, on the same map, that was played twice, like it’s doing constant shader caching.
edit:
rolled back to 24.3.1 from 3 months ago, night and day difference.

I just installed them. Seems fine to me.
Keep in mind that darktide says it’s compiling shaders but experience shows that after changing graphics drivers gameplay tends to be a bit stuttery until all shaders are compiled.
I don’t know if this problem was fixed or not.
It is 24.6.1, not 26.6.1 ; )
There is fps drop issue since the 24.x.x serie drivers on the game.
The last driver with correct performance is the 23.11.1…

Did you upgrade or clean installed them?
Shaders is not the issue since I played the same mission twice, even standing still exactly at the starting area for 6 mins, without touching the controls, will cause nonstop micro stutters from 120 fps to 30 fps, with and without SAM/ReBAR.

I updated them.
But I also always do some other stuff.
The video I posted here has a download with some registry files and MSI tool.
It’s explained in the other thread.
That stuff has to be redon after graphics driver update.
And PC needs a restart.
Especially the MSI tool seems to make a difference for me.
Setting priority of the graphics card to high.
I have SAM / Rebar off in the bios and texture quality on medium.
I’m not using AMD Fluid Motion Frames anymore.
Instead I’m using LukeFZ FSR 3 mod with framegeneration.
With that setup I have around 200 FPS usually.
Haven’t paid attention if and how much it can dip down in a while since it’s mostly smooth.
