Please add solo allready. We have been waiting since launch. I would probably by more skins too if I could play with my own characters as BOTS because I would be able to see them…

If Fatshark needs any evidence that this is desired (because they obviously have ignored all the other evidence), here we have someone posting for the first time in 2 years. Was it for the new class? No. Havoc updates? No. It was for solo mode.

Yeah i agree, while i don’t understand the need. But it’s always was a somewhat golden standart to have bots and offline mode in such games. And as you said, they promised it.

Today, of all days, is a perfect reason why solo needs to be a thing. We’re getting the Arbites class, meaning the lobbies will be flooded with them. I can’t say anything against that, I’ll be one of them for a bit in quickplay. We also know that Arbites are not meant to play through the Battle of Tertium content, meaning anyone wanting to try that out in a lore-friendly way won’t want Arbites in their runs. Anyone else seeing the problem here? If I could load up solo I could have the narrative experience that is meant when playing one of the other classes, without needing friends online and in the squad to stop the inevitable Arbites campaign players joining.
UPDATE: Yeah, so this worry was totally justified. Restarted my Veteran and played the first two narrative missions, with three Arbitrators both times. I skipped the campaign on my Arbitrator out of courtesy. Come on FatShark, please let me play this in a lore friendly way.

VT2 bots probably can’t handle deeds on Cata, but with changes in the last couple of patches they sure as hell can handle Cata with relative success, no mods involved. That’s more than enough, imo.
And since the game runs locally, I don’t have to deal with crappy servers, rubberbanding or other bs because I happened to be born in a country that’s too far away from the closest servers.
Just add solo already, ObeseFish

Glad to see people are still holding fatshark’s feet to the fire over solo mode. These developers are frauds, and should be ashamed of themselves. Every single person who bought this game anticipating to play solo mode as we did in Vermintide 2 were robbed. I was robbed by this company.

The sheer amount of Arbites is jarring. Coming IN FORCE.
At this point we need to start getting harsher on Fatshark. Gamers have torched devs like EA and Ubisoft for missing features and actually got them to change things; but so far we have done little-to-no intense work on pressuring them to add it. No review bombing campaign, no youtuber coverage; nothing!
We need to start doubling our efforts and make Fatshark come under pressure to release it; otherwise they’re just going to keep ignoring it and ultimately sweep it under the rug; which is unacceptable!

The bots got reverted back to the pre-bot improvement mod changes and the bot improvement mod itself has been unsanctioned, so V2 bots are a bit of a mess atm.
with all the dumbasses i’ve been playing with recently it sure feels like solo lol

My biggest reason for wanting solo with bots lol. Either their gear is bad, or they’re sprinting through the level like a madman. Bots, you get to level them up yourself, choose their gear, and they’ll stick by you.

I play on East Coast Gamepass, and I literally can’t get under 120 ms in this game. It’s completely unacceptable. I play League of Legends or Marvel Rivals on their Dallas servers and still get 50ms from half the country away. WTF is the deal? At least let me host my own games so I can actually play the game FFS.

Not gonna disagree, but the game needs a certain amount of ping to function as well, some attacks are undodgeable at 0 ping.
That is why there are mods to artificially add ping to solo games.
It is a pretty arbitrary requirement to need 2 people to make a private lobby

A few of us play on East, including some central buddies, usually 40-60 for all so IDK what to tell you.
There could be any number of things happening when the packets leave your place, after you’ve eliminated any local issues, maybe give your ISP a holler and/or tracert to the servers logged in the logs while in-game? Look for “mission_server”.
Maybe you ended up on a Canadian server eh an you’re paying the maple tariffs or something.
I think East may sometimes end up in CA-Central and other times in the USA-East.

It’s beyond ridiculous. And trying to get Fatshark to respond on forums usually just brings in a lot of toxicity that they themselves foster with their radio silence.
