Pretty simple add more call quick calls for different situations or let us customise the ones we got.
Iâd also like one that says âSorry.â
There are voice lines for âYesâ and âNoâ but odd that theyâre not on the wheel.
The DT wheel is so barebones vs VT2 it sucks. I like being able to place markers, but just a lack of yes/no, or anything else makes it feel cumbersome
A âgroup upâ call without marking a specific location is basically pointless, so it should be a marker that can be put somewhere (maybe a shield or something).
Making it a marker would also have the benefit of not necessarily requiring all the voice actors to record a new voice line (although some additional sound upon placing the marker, would certainly increase the likelyhood of people noticing the marker).
We currently have three different types of markers:
- âgo hereâ: colored waypoint (unique symbol)
- âlook hereâ: white eye (not unique symbol, but different color than Daemon Host tag)
- âenemy spottedâ: red skull (identical to elite/special tag)
It would be nice to get a 4th âdefend positionâ marker. Alternatively, this marker could replace the red skull.
Using the red skull marker is confusing because it is identical to the marker above tagged enemies. The white eye basically serves the same purpose but does not confuse.
Now that we are on this topic:
It would certainly help if the waypoints always had high visibility colors.
- There are no more than 4 players in one party, yet there is a pool of more than 4 different colors that can be designated to the players.
- Some of the colors do not stand out from most backgrounds and some of them are quite similar to each other.
- It does not seem like the different colors are utilized to maximize the contrast to the predominant colors of the map.
It would be preferable to just have the 4 most contrasting and visible colors (probably orange, light green, magenta and blue) in order to guarantee visibility of the playerâs waypoints.
I donât like the idea of call-outs that give orders. It will be abused by self appointed team leaders, who will be toxic when people donât play by their fiddle.
A âhelpâ call-out would be better if you need a teammate to help you out.
agree most the options we were use to in v2 have changed but the more pressing thing for me is the difficulty in selecting compared to v2; it feels like my mouse needs to move 5cm instead of a tap in the right direction⌠The go there arrows imo should be options for key binding the chat wheel should be for quick communications.
As for the Group up maybe there should be an incentive to group at a location⌠most players know there is but if auras could be detached from the player and placed in a location those that want to run off can set there aura to the group up zone placement⌠Maybe another class could introduce this mechanic⌠but sometimes a hero needs to stay at backline when others rushforward sending a group up marker is kinda like telling players where to go to get the maximum benefit of their coherencyâŚ
