About saltzpyre's rapier

So today when I try to use saltzpyre’s rapier, I notice that when I perform a push attack, I can’t switch to my secondary weapon right away.
Is it always been like that or recently changed or simply a bug?

Until this is hopefully, fixed block cancelling after push attack lets you swap as soon as the block registers.
