60+ weapons in the game is a lie?

i really hope there are more weapons because they said there are 60+ weapons in the game, that would mean 15 weapons per character which is not the case. very very limited choices

I believe they actually mean 60+ weapon variants, not 60+ unique weapons.

there are actually very few weapons but there are many variations of the aforementioned. for example you can have a sword called “Excalibur” then there is Excalibur MK1, Excalibur MK2, Excalibur MK3 etc etc …
the difference is in the stats but it is so slight as to be insignificant and the appearance is also identical. (I’ve read some have slightly different heavy attacks)

the fact that there are 60+ weapons isn’t totally a lie but it’s not the truth either.

Honestly, the way they said it sounds like a false advertisement

Many weapons will probably unlock at a higher level. For example I havent seen the thunder hammer yet in the shop for my zealot. furthermore it is the 2nd day in the BETA. I am sure there wil be plenty of weapons at full release. So far what I have seen, weapon variety is better than in Vermintide 2.

Sorry, but I’m so confused how you can say that there is better weapon variety here than VT2.

VT2 we had spears, 1 handed swords, daggers, axes, maces. 2 handed axes, swords, polearms, hammers. Flails. Shield + the variety of single handed weapons.

Then for ranged we had crossbows, bows, variety of guns, thrown weapons…

Pretty night and day that VT2 has the better variety imo

Hmm, I meant more like for each character you had around 5 meele and around 5 ranged weapons. Thats counting the DLC weapons as well. Did you have double daggers for Kruber? Or a Lonbow for Bardin? No… :slight_smile: At the 2nd day of the beta I have seen with my level 15 Zealot, at least 7 or 8 different range weapons and 5 melee weapons, 6 if you count the thunder hammer. I mean, if you are not happy with the weapon variety thats fair enough, dont want to argue. But give it some time. Wait for full release or higher level / story progess.

Worst case scenario is, that we get additional weapons in an free DLC. :slight_smile:
