Well it is somewhat effective in close combat.
You can use the wave alongside heavy attack which otherwise wouldn’t stagger an attacking rager.
How can we argue when all we do is throw turds at each other for the last 15 or so comments?
There is no merit to this ‘conversation’ because we’re not tackling the subject at hand, but rather playing a petty game.
Also, you taking my completely unrelated, exagerated comment on a stream to spin the narrative of me playing the victim does not make you sound smart or ‘in the right’, it makes you sound like a loser trying to grasp at anything that could save face.

Let’s think about why a sword with ridiculous damage cannot be effective in a game where you need to quickly kill a large number of enemies.
So you got owned on the forums then you went to stream to try to get back at some imaginary entity, got it.

Funny you accuse others of “streamsnipe” when that’s not even what it means and the only reason I would know it’s you crying is you using your real name on youtube. I was just watching a stream, then you showed up and stank up the comments.
It seems like no matter what I’ll say you already have a preconception of the type of person I am, so why would i try to disillusion you.

Slow weapons with sh-t mobility should have more damage than high mobility weapons.
New swords arent bad, they are meh compared to what we have simple as.
They are fun to play with and FS is flashy, but … idk seeing people still come back to DS/Knife/PS is so demoralizing, cuz I know they are just objectively superior.
This is EASILY fixable by making some real changes to blessings.
- Soulblaze blessing on FS should ALWAYS stack 2 SB, Crit 4, weakspoint 4, Crit WP 6 AND killing the enemy with the strike would still apply the SB so it can spread on death.
Is it OP? I dont care blessingless DS exists.
2.Explosion on heat for PS should be a BANG = psyker overload, it can even do some self toughness dmg.
3. Also why is TWO HANDED power sword weaker than ONE handed power sword? Explain please. Cuz it has more charges ? Omg its like locking weapons potential 80% behind its special SUCKS as a design

this is about unpowered waves, which has their uses.
The sword attack themselves are mid, not ridiculously bad.

I don’t understand why it’s so hard for people to admit what they like doesn’t necessarily have to be top tier.
I see the new weapons being mid as a problem, and the problem getting solved(as unlikely as that is, considering how long crutchsword spent being and still is overpowered) can only be good for everyone, especially people who insist on liking the weapon.
haven’t even found time to start the game after the patch, nevermind craft the things. 
anyway, pics of lobbies full of 2h swords on reddit, as expected.
they need to be strong if you want people to use them instead of rapiers and knives.
on the other hand, they seem to have a mobility penalty, so they’re ultimately much like the vet’s power sword, it seems. much damage, but you move like a fat shark on land.

Vet’s crutchsword has same sprint speed as normal sword, capping out at +0.27/80%
The damage is actually not as good. Vet’s mk6 crutchsword pushstab+lightattack kills crusher in 2 hits if not 1(with crit…etc.). Zealot needs to use ult to oneshot crusher on a sprint heavy, if you use ult - you can one shot crusher with even dueling sword, eviscerator…etc.

Haven’t checked moveset on V2 beacuse new PC and it’s not installed but kinda feels the same from what I can remeber
Elf GS works because it has additional crit especially on push attack.

But you get relatively close, a 2nd hit should finish off the crusher afterwards. 
From my limited testing and review on data, the swords look rather decent. They can keep up with some of the best melee offerings on those same classes in terms of damage.
On the other hand, we have weapons that have the same damage output but are in a different leage of mobility so there’s no real competition. They are more than good enough to get the job done and you’re not throwing if you use them. I’d just not bring them for a II-I-VEG challenge run, probably.
You’re absolutely right and for some reason I never liked the elven GS but the psyker one I do.
