It’s a meme, at best. Honestly, given the Hive Scum is a criminal who can modify his guns, why couldn’t we get something like double magazine size but double reload time? I don’t care if the animations change or not, just play them slower or something. It would be fun, though.

Double magazine size - but a sizeable chance your weapon will overheat and blow up in your hands if you’ll spend more than 75% of clip without reloading, dealing one wound of HP damage immediately, and requiring you to spend 5s on removing the jam - how about that? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Why not just remove the need to reload ranged weapons on Hive Scum all together? Also give him infinite ammo. I mean Desperado Scum needs help. Does Fatshark hate fun?

I’m calling for it to have downsides, but right now it’s just a dead node when it has a chance to be something interesting. Desperado is far from overpowered, especially in higher difficulties. Against a pack of Havoc 40 crushers this change would only mean it can tickle them a little more.

But, you know, maybe it would be too strong. Maybe this should be a capstone talent for the tree. “Aftermarket Accessories”.

@Durandal94 If it makes you feel better, triple-barrel shotguns have existed. But also, if you double it to four then you can argue it’s just some space-tech superimposed loading system.
