Enemy Mechanics

Issue Description (Required):

  • Enemies insta hitting with 0 animation (has happened to me and I’ve seen people take damage from enemies with 0 animation 3x)
  • Enemies will initiate Sprint Attacks for seemingly no reason, during standard side to side Dodging, while Horde is in place
  • No woosh for attacks from behind - Happened again. Monks 1shot me before they even did their screech
  • Double Roamers - Skaven and Chaos at the same time. Getting Vanguard Roamer density in normal Cata
  • Enemies ignoring stacking - including entire Hordes arriving blobbed up
  • Specials spawns seem to have gone crazy too - 2x of the same special spawns on the same spot
  • ‘Lag’ even as host sometimes - everything seems normal speed, but you pick up an item and it’s delayed
  • Enemies spawning right next to people - including Disablers
  • Ghost shots
  • Never ending loading screen when you join someone’s game who’s in the Keep
  • Never ending loading screen at the end of a match
  • Specials with no sound
  • Enemies hitting players when their attack isn’t even facing the player
  • Pushes not registering
  • Huntsmans invisibility doesn’t work sometimes - especially if you use a purple potion and spam it
  • Shade’s invis weird enemies following when I used it once

YES. I thought I was going crazy, - checked my internet connection etc. There’s definitely something odd going on, as I’ve been taking strange hits and the load times have got silly, especially when 2 are joining at once. Has something changed with the net code?

i can confirm that there are sometimes (more often than usual) no backstab sounds. Also it seems that enemies spawning behind the player is a thing again. Also i see enemies often despawn in front of me.
Shade invis seems most often ok but sometimes they see me.

These issues are unfortunately present on console as well, not only Steam.

Seriously what has happened to this game. They haven’t fixed Darktide either. So what have they been doing? The previous event really screwed the game up badly. You forgot to mention double spawning specials. As well as double Patrols (unless that’s double roamers) spawning in. And the lack of pickups spawning on some maps sometimes, like literally zero pickups spawn outside of specific spots. They’ve gotta patch this up because with the influx of newer players it’s becoming extremely difficult to carry every match

I think this is something of a “veteran player” thing, I know things are off and wonky, I know there’s some weird hits happenings, I know there’s suddenly special spam, or I get hit through block and so on. something is definitely different and it’s likely only veterans are spotting it but it’s low-key broken the game. It’s only as people posted here that I realised I’m not going mental or suddenly become crap at it.
