Indeed. As I have said many times before, I can normally, nearly every game, out preform and out kill even the best Pyros. At the same time I’m normally protecting the Pyro while it does it “stand still like a rock” beam staff wiggle across hordes/enemies. Because from what I’ve seen, most don’t pay attention to what is going on around them. Meanwhile, the beam staff is still one of the weakest choices you can go for on Sienne. It’s a fact that other staffs vastly out preform the beam CDR build.
Also, anyone can do well with a ranged character when they are competing against mostly melee classes. Here’s a match from the other night on Champion, I know champion and Legend are a completely different ball game. But here you can see that a range char with CC can easily kill the majority of the mobs before the party even gets a chance to engage.
