FotF has never worked “as intended”, and it seems that after all these years Fatshark has ZERO interest in doing anything about it.
Redoubled Zeal issue has been ongoing since the double charge talent was introduced.
Pressing the button to set off FotF results in random outcomes almost every time, either;
It works - maybe 50% of the time tops.
It doesn’t go off and no charge is consumed.
It doesn’t go off at all and goes on cool down.
Just the screen and sound effects play and it goes on cool down.
It goes off after a long delay (anywhere up to FOUR MINUTES after activation)
It makes you zoom off in a random direction.
It targets a random mob in a random direction.
It double triggers and zooms you twice.
You trigger it once and it works once but consumes both charges on activation.
You trigger it once and it works once but consumes second charge on hit. (Your Issue)
You trigger it once and it works once but takes a full 60 seconds for the second charge to show on the button visually.
Most of the time It goes off without one or more of the following;
Extra 50% toughness does not proc.
Extra 20% Attack speed does not proc.
Extra 25% Damage does not proc.
Extra 100% Rending does not proc.
“Guaranteed Crit” does not proc.
FotF has been and still is the most jank, broken and unloved talent in the game, but Fatshark reckons it’s fine because it works sometimes.
I have been complaining about Chastise The Wicked/FotF this since the BETA TESTS and they refuse to fix the multiple issues with it.
Here’s one of the clips I have submitted with one of my MANY complaints about this issue;
Feel free to keep screaming into the void, but no-one is going to fix this.
