Zealot / anointed in blood

I feel like Anointed in Blood isn’t extremely impactful and doesn’t really have any active elements that lead into it, so I came up with a different idea for this node - Bloodbath

Precision and Critical Hits against enemies suffering from Bleed expose their wounds for 3s.

Exposed enemies take +2.5% Damage and +5% Critical Damage for every 2 Bleed Stacks.

I feel like every second suggestion I see here just wants to delete non finesse weapons from the game. What if I am a nostalgic fool and I enjoy equipping a brauto on my Zealot?

A little more seriously I don’t think there’s anything wrong with annoint in blood. It’s a perfectly good ranged damage node. It just exists in the context of a class that doesn’t have an actual ranged build. Naturally people will be less inclined to take something that will not synergize meaningfully with the rest of their build.

I don’t know what the solution to this is, but I’m almost certain it doesn’t involve squeezing annoint in blood into an even narrower niche (crit bleed vs any gun you shoot regularly in close range). I appreciate wanting to make talents more active but it’s fine to have early in the tree straightforward stat boosts. There are enough buff icons going in and out of the buff bar as is.
