Zealot and CDR nodes

Zealot has 3 CDR nodes

  • Pious cut-throat: restore 20% ability cooldown on a backstab kill
  • Martyr’s purpose: 1% of damage taken is converted in ability cooldown reduction
  • Invocation of death: +200% ability cooldown regeneration on a critic hit

First, a shroudfield zealot can benefit and from Pious cut-throat and Invocation of death. This lead to the possibility to spam the use of shroudfield, and lead also to balance problems.
Secondly, Martyr’s purpose is totally useless, a waste of 1 point cause it only benefit you when you’re hurt, and only if you had used your ability just before.

I really would like to see Martyur’s purpose interesting. But how it is written, it is wrong. First, with a martyr’s build, you don’t have plenty of life, as you will take surely 3 wounds curios. Secondly, this one is totally stupid on such build. Lastly, when other CDR will triggers every minute, this one can trigger only if you have health (and with a martyr’s build you don’t want to have a lot of health - at least you should prefer to let the medicae to someone else).
About invocation of death… it is too strong. Really too strong. You reverted it, or sort of, but now we can spam ability again.
About invocation of death + pious cut-throat, this is too much. I know this sound radical, but I think that pious cut-throat does not fit where it is, close to inexorable judgment. Also, it is less interesting than invocation of death and still, associated with it, the cooldown reduction is too strong.

So, what I would like to propose is something like this:
Martyr’s purpose: CDR+100% ability cooldown regeneration scaling with the missing health (so if you have lost 20% life, you get a +20%).
Invocation of death: revert it to -X s to the ability cooldown. Increase it a little to what it was before (if I remember good, it was -1.5s, so put it at -2s or -2.5s)
Pious cut-throat: replace it by something else like -1% cooldown time by melee hit. So something that would associate well with fast weapons. And… change its name.

I really think that CDR nodes are badly designed. They are either too powerful or totally useless. And also, several builds cannot have any access to any CDR node (if you don’t go critic or backstab kill, no CDR node for you).
To be honest, these nodes is the reason why the majority of my builds rely around critics. Cause invocation of death is the only CDR node that can be used with any weapon. But this reduces the possibilities by a lot.
