XESS upscaling dark corners and shadows look crushed black

Issue Description:

When using XESS upscaling, ambient occlusion gradients look completely black, crushed. It does not happen with native TAA or FSR

BTW, I want to use XESS as FSR 2 has too much shimmer when moving or rotating the camera, I do not know if that is a bug on its own, but only happens with FSR, and not with TAA or XESS

Steps to Reproduce:

Enable XESS, approach a wall or geometry, observe how the dark spaces between the geometry look completely crushed back
