From Steam, when I launch the game, the launcher appears. It is normal. But if I launch the game from the launcher and push Alt + Shift keys to go back on something else than the game itself, even if I am on Fullscreen setting, my game goes into the Windowed mode. After that I have to change two times the screen mode setting to go back to Fullscreen mode.
Same here, it started to happen after the last patch.
Hm, I only have the issue that the game starts in windowed mode if I click somewhere else during start up process.
Nonetheless the reason why it happens to you, you should know that by pressing “Alt+Enter” you can set the game to fullscreen again.
