Will the 'Inventory Full' bug still be fixed?

Still waiting for those Backend Engineers to reach 100% happiness, with my 2286 unopened boxes…

I don’t know what the maximum amount of inventory space is, but at this point a lion’s share of it is certainly taken by purely cosmetic items. I have a total of 533 hats, skins, and frames added together. Even with 0 deeds left, that doesn’t leave a whole lot of room for anything else. There are 81 unique weapon types currently in the game, so that’s another 81 slots gone if you’ve crafted all Weave weapons like I have. Even just having one (!) version of each weapon for the normal campaign mode would bring me to around 700 inventory items.

I’m glad that this problem is apparently fixed for new accounts created after the Be’lakor update, but what about us who have been playing the game for several years?

I might be wrong, but i fear each version of a weave weapon (one for each career) counts as a separate weapon. I hope I’m wrong, but the game has to save the weap stats somewhere.

I’m sure it is, just like the mods for VT1 and dedicated servers for VT2.

It’s depressing to know that this issue plagues primarily the accounts that have not had it solved.

Well, to be fair we know the servers aren’t on the list anymore.

Yeah, it is a bit disheartening, especially because I have a list of things WoM broke, and I’d have thought by now they’d be fixed. They aren’t:

Beastmen in wrong maps (see many topics).
Oleysa’s old lines being inaccessible (ditto, although fewer topics)
Inventory (i blame it on the weaves in my case).

I’m confident the last will get a fix (or they will stop selling cosmetics at some point - think of red weapon illusions you can’t craft in the red), but I’m honestly afraid the rest might stay broken - which is not really acceptable for me. Those are pretty major points for a player that treasures immersion.

In fatshark’s defence, while they are infuriatingly slow, they mostly keep at things, and they left VT1 in a good spot.
I hope they do the same here.
What’s depressing about these mistakes is that they’d be solved by uninstalling WoM, but that means giving up cata and some weapons. We are still suffering the consequences of that atrocious “expansion” three years after its release.
I’m otherwise happy about vermintide.

Some mistakes have been depressing me for years. I don’t know if that’s part of the charm, e.g. when you carefully avoid a number of places in the CWs. So I reserve my right to laugh at their expense regarding the bugs, including the problematic part of “we fixed it for the new players” when it’s the players like us who suffer the most. But I do appreciate knowing that this requires a special migration by someone presumably external.

TBH, I believe they would like to fix all of the issues and that they will fix at least some of them. However, we don’t have their priority list and, well, the speed with which they have been fixing ithe issues has not been impressive at all.

This exactly. I wish they dedicated a bit more effort towards eradicating those problems.
I can see why this might not happen, but it carries a risk: all those negatives feelings will probably fester and spill out once a big mistake comes out - as it’s bound to happen - and then all hell breaks loose, making it harder (and more unpleasant) for the ppl who have to look through it all for feedback.

As I said, I remember all the good that came with VT (a quiet drink in particular just showed the love the company has for the game), but very long standing issues certainly weight against them too.

When will it come to older existing accounts? Or is it another worthless promise

Wow, looking back at it, it’s really been a long time… as I said elsewhere, it should really be fixed before Sienna’s career. I’m all out of dust.

I also really, really hope they’ll fix beastmen appearing in wrong maps, and restore the old oleysa with post-mission briefings. It’s not like it’s important to hear those selfsame weave lines…
But I’m afraid those WoM mistakes will tarnish VT forever…

Yeah i really hope that as well because i have reached the limit without any deeds left. and i already scrap every loot to dust, even all red items. i only have the reds which i need for my builds ( but i have a couple of builds for each career).
Its all about frames, and cosmetics and weave weapons.

I didn’t see a mention of it in the latest patch notes, but with today’s Tower of Treachery update I can happily report that I can open spoils of war again. Hopefully everyone else who has suffered from the problem these past few years can do the same.

Now to open and scrap the contents of 2,683 boxes…

Yes, the problem was fixed for me as well
Now I’m a proud owner of every red illusion. I’m somewhat surprised hundreds of chests didn’t provide enough dust to craft every red warrior priest illusion though (and they have such generic descriptions too), but that’s a much better problem to have :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s good to know! I have been saving my shillings because I didn’t want to lock myself out of opening chests.
Now I finally can clean Lohner out. Just 200 shillings to go and I have all the cosmetics available.

There’s a related patch note, but I thought that wasn’t the fix, because the way the patch note was written, it seems to be a UI-only change.

@Fatshark_Hedge Can you confirm if the Tower of Treachery update is an actual fix to the “Inventory Full” bug, rather than a UI-only change?

I’d say those are two different things.
My guess is that they didn’t want to advertise the other change, because it’s about something they had already fixed for everybody but us veteran hoarders.
But yeah, weird, as that is one of the best things they could do
