Why are our hands so absolutely filthy when the enemy we are fighting thrives on filth and disease? It actually ruins my immersion more than it helps. We see literal shower blocks in the Hab blocks. People clearly bathe

And for Thrones sake, why are so many gloves not full gloves and instead just fingerless gloves?

After killing about 1 enemy in melee combat, it would make sense for our hands to be filthy, no?

So the dirty hands would be correct for almost the entirety of the mission in most cases.

Edit:
Although our hands are dirty, they are somewhat well maintained.
Let’s just appreciate that we do not have any of those abominations from hell on our fingers

I like the dirty, gritty design and do not mind it.

We play as a bunch of scum recycled for new glorious purpose by the Imperium.

It would make sense to play as an absolutely spotless guardsman from Mordian Iron Guard. Premium Skin maybe?

Immersion-wise, I’d definitely like to see at least a few lines of dialogue addressing the fact that our characters go into missions without needing full SCBA systems with hazmat suits covered in purity seals to survive. Especially considering that a whole bunch of the enemies we are fighting are canonically capable of spreading all sorts of nasty crap.

In the Hourglass area missions, the PCs will pretty frequently question mission control about their chances of becoming infected due to either daemonic infestation or the heretics’ homebrewed pathogens being stored/developed there.

Also, going by Fashion Randomizer, it looks like HazMat cosmetics (with purity seals!) are already in-game, just not available to players yet.
