They should fix the game, and the mod won’t do anything about the time it takes to “get lucky”
It helps a lot. My personal record for rerolling was 447 attempts…

It automatically rolls perks for you and it does that at least 10x as fast as you could.
Of course it does not change anything about the locks on your items.
Yes. It tells the devs that people, despite complaining about it, are actually willing to sit there and roll stats for 30 minutes straight with no success.
Even the mod is not perfect. How is it hard to add a scrolling list where you pick the perk you want?
As hard as hitting the “esc” button, going to mod options, and selecting the perk that you want from a scrolling list.
It is what I do… however it is not player friendly as you have to install mods.
FS should change the perk reroll interface… last time they made it worse. Now, they should give us a list to pick what we want.

This game is going to be outright unplayable on console if fatshark doesn’t hurry up and completely scrap the current gear progression system. It took me over 500 rolls to get flak damage on one of my weapons the other day. It’s straight up untenable without a mod to auto-roll for you while you go afk.
Now try to get an item that already has the perk on it by default (from consecration).
