I started playing on september 8th. Let’s say that at the worst case scenario, I didn’t look at the cosmetics store before september 11th so I missed what was on the rotation before. From what I’ve heard, the rotation is biweekly. So there should have been a rotation on the 25th. But ok, the Bound by Duty update released on the 23rd so maybe the store rotation got delayed. It is now the october 3rd. Why has the cosmetics store not rotated? All that happened was that the new(?) cosmetics got added. There’s 4 different cosmetic sets for the 4 base classes. I don’t remember there being 4 sets before the update but, if there were, surely the store doesn’t rotate one cosmetic set out at a time, right? What am I missing?
Edit: One cosmetic set got rotated out after Bound by Duty update.
Store rotates once every two weeks with the oldest set leaving to be replaced by a new one. The other two stay.
Big content patches usually come with a fancy set so the rotation starts anew from patch day. Sometimes events means extra pages temporarily added to the store.
Arbrites don’t get new cosmetics until GW says okay.
It was every second Thursday, but around the Xbox launch they decided that if there’s a major update there has to be a new store page up too. I think they’ve only missed a couple updates since then, and those were ones where the store updated like 2 days in.
So since we just got an update, it should be knocked off the cycle temporarily but resume next Thursday.
