What nerfs do you wanna see?

A psyker will always outperform any DPS while he can be in security at same time.
Just a fact.

I have a Scum level 53, so played a lot, but still far not enough to be able to think I master the class.
This being says, and I know I could be wrong, I think the Scum could outperform my zealot in term of DPS for the melee part.
I doubt the ranged part can outperform the veteran, but I have already seen good scoreboards (powerDI) for Scums with ranged.
Ogryn is the safety, like Arbites. They cannot be compared to a Scum that is on floor with 2 hits.

So, considering the risks… You’re right. The scums should be buffed on the DPS. (Edit: or better, the others should be nerfed like proposed in this thread)
But guess what will happen… they will buff its survavibility… sad, but true.

A nerf to loading…meaning more downtime (longer elevator rides) for interesting dialogue..

More downtime in general would be lovely

I don’t even pay attention to who’s with me most of the time given their random nature, much less listen to their voice lines.

couldn’t say cause I never use it anyways.

getting accused of cheap meta usage when in fact my rumbler is simply to debuff crushers and bosses before the pickaxe whacks in and maybe oneshot reapers.

other than that I use a pure melee full health oggy build that does fine even in havoc 40

I don’t think darktide needs more dps tho, we’ve already it the point where to try and compensate fatshark had to do a massive enemy buff

of these, smite is the biggest sore in my eyes because it encourages this boring turret style play. easiest rework is probably to shorten its duration and require manual quelling, so people have to use it with care and can’t just stand in a corner, hold down a button and claim they’re great.

yellow toughness enables the art of facetanking for many, it’s not required against most of what the regular game throws at you. and as i said regarding scum gameplay: being squishier feels more rewarding because it requires more agility and foresight.

BLO could be adjusted easily so the game checks if you’re using BLO with the rumbler, and if yes it stops automatic fire after 3 shots or so.

dueling sword should remain a good weapon because it’s agile and fun, but be weaker against carapace, which is intuitive for a long, slender blade. the issue is that it excels at everything.

plasma gun less damage for uncharged shots, and chem grenade either less damage over time or less time active.

Uncanny strike is one of the reasons why the OP weapons are so OP. If it was just 6% rending and not 24% (like the new shivs are right now), a lot of people wouldn’t be complaining about OP weapons nearly as much as they do.

Currently golden toughness puts you in a state where you can have 150% toughness, meaning if you lose some golden toughness, you can regain it with any toughness regen.
If it gave you 50 stacks of a buff with a duration and getting hit would take stacks away, there would be no way to regain lost golden toughness.
Thats how I would balance it without completely getting rid of it.
You can still facetank a couple hits, but you can’t facetank for 10 seconds straight.

Cap perilous combustion and reduce soublaze damage vs carapice and remove the uncanny interaction.

Nerf all uncanny blessings to be the same as it is on HS shivs.

Rework smite to have charges that are regained somehow. Something that you cast once and it permiates through the crowd and puts them in an electrocuted state for several seconds with a dot that barely kills chaff.

Side note, I’d love to see an infested instead of unyielding boss that has health regen similar to the bile troll in VT2, maybe that would make weapons that are good vs infested a stronger pick. Or a plague champion that spreads corruption as a regular enemy, so corruption cleansing talents and abilities are more valuable.

I’d go with reduced Cleave on Uncharged Attacks instead. On top of that, maybe Plasma Gun should only hit Bulwarks through their Slab Shields on Charged Attacks? Charged Attacks need to be more relevant.

Scrier’s Gaze needs nerfs, like, yesterday. Warp Unbound needs to just go and Scrier’s Gaze itself either needs to be tuned down directly or given a period of vulnerability, like the 7-second “Exhaustion” period on Hive Scum’s Rampage! Ability.

Perilous Combustion wouldn’t be anywhere near as OP if nerfed to no longer proc itself.

Inferno Staff needs to be nerfed too. Blaze Away is way too strong on Inferno Staff specifically, and Infinite Cleave is just inherently problematic in Darktide.
