I kinda know that if I queue up with friends, we all have this icon. But I don’t know this person. What does it mean?
Means you’re/they’re in a strike team.

I’m not sure what you mean. I queued up alone in a pug match and this person literally joined last. And only him has this icon, nobody else did.

My understanding is that it denotes that person is in a strike team, but I could be wrong. And I can’t confirm/deny if you can get a social invite while in a mission to join a strike team that is outside the mission, so if it’s not that possible maybe it’s a UI bug?
Maybe someone else can offer more insight!
If a person have that skull symbol it means they got a huge crush on you.
Try talking to them in voip maybe you get a date.

It’s meant to show who’s in a strike team together. If it only showed on one person, chalk it up to a bug.

Could it be a person from your steam/ingame friendlist, who simply joined you?
Depending on how you manage your friend lists, there are probably a few people on there, which you are unaware of.
When a friend joins you while you are in a mission, you get no pop up to accept or deny their request.
That accept/deny option only appears when someone tries to join you outside of missions.
I have a friend that I know joined me before. In that case, I’ll get the skull too but when only one person has it in this case, idk what it means. Perhaps a bug.
