When someone is a specialist in some field, I’d expect them to do something particularly well, or to do something complicated that no one else can.
In this case, I’d expect the keystone to somehow affect specific weapons with unusual interactions or uncommon movesets, or do something with a weapon that you normally can’t or that is really difficult or otherwise ineffective.
But the only thing the keystone does is give you a temporary bonus on weapon switching.
I won’t go into the design minutiae of that, just wondering. Is this maybe a remnant of the old, scrapped keystones?
Just here to say that I am not only disappointed by the keystones (except the second focus target)… no… this is far from that. Why having to switch to get a bonus? There was already (still existing) a talent for this (agile engagement), and I don’t get why they added a keystone that does a similar effect.
Same hate for Marksman focus… Why do we have to stand still to get a bonus… worst behavior that you can adopt in this game.
Doesn’t seem like it’s by much though. The new cockup node placement on the veteran tree makes it damned difficult to achieve much beyond parity with the other classes. I swear my psyker is a more competent marksman than my veteran after this cockup cascade.
All … 2.
I just feel they could have named it differently. It’s kind of a waste of theme because there could have been plenty of options to affect weapon specials and foster unusual interactions instead of a reload bonus to add to the pile of existing ones.
Psyker is unironically better at using guns right now from what i have seen. Patch 15 vet can be best described as:
VoC, Grenades, Kiss the floor, repeat.
