I remember back before y’all added a bunch of new weapons, you had camouflage sets for each weapon available in the aquila shop from time to time, one personal favourite being the chemsludge camo set that I haven’t seen come back since forever. How about updating those for all the new weapons that were introduced since then and putting the updated sets back in rotation?
The ordo dockets cosmetics shop has alternate weapon skins available permanently, but those haven’t been updated to include the new weapons either. There are no skins for the bolt pistol or shock maul or any of those newer weapons in the ordo dockets shop.
Reckon both these areas could stand to receive a pass.
But I don’t think it will happen… Fatshark is terribly slow in their process. Even if they wanted to, it would surely take them 3 years to deliver the proper skin for all color sets.
Better to sell one new skin at a time.
First, a set for 700 Aquilas, then one skin for the same price.
No, these tactics are not bad. They are just predatory.
what’s funny is that the shock mauls are content withheld for so long they actually have skins for the chemzone sludgewhatever/fire claw/tundra and the yellow/black camo skins. they just aren’t flagged to use because go back to the store and buy something.
but yeah these skins should really come back, they’re part of the large volume of stuff that was only in the store prior to the xbox launch. which was also in early access bug days where no one was really playing or throwing money at the devs
Thinking about it a little, I think these camouflage sets would actually make a great addition to any kind of commissary rework, which I do hope is coming at some point (as well as a weekly contract rework). Ideally, maybe a new camouflage set in the commissary a couple times a year, and updates to existing sets as new weapons are added to the game.
Considering I paid aquilas for several skins from the chemsludge set, I confess I’d probably be slightly butthurt if those aquilas weren’t refunded upon adding chemsludge to the commissary, but that’s not an insurmountable issue. Maybe the legacy chemsludge players have already bought could be blinged up a bit to distinguish it from the plain lookalike set that would be added to the commissary, to offer one idea for a solution.
