Visual enemy damage issues and stuff

Issue Description (Required):

Ragdolls split in half dont react to player attacks, head and arms cant come off and torso doesnt explode when damaged enough. Lower half still reacts but also if you hit where the arms would be on the legs half of the ragdoll it will spawn arms.
Ragdolls dont show damage responses when attacked (armor and clothes and flesh dont show damage)
Ragdolls dont react to aoe (fire and explosions)

Making it so that the requirements for damage to happen be agnostic (Character can be either dead or alive) would make for a much more satisfying responsive combat experience

It’s kinda sad these issues and the state of the gore haven’t been touched for years

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

Play with any weapon that can bisect enemies and notice how the ragdoll is no longer responsive to player input

As for the aoe just throw a grenade on a horde of corpses and notice how they don’t even flinch or fly around like they would in vermintide

It looks like you have the filters applied.

It may be linked to your location. There s a mod that could help, cause ragdoll is permitted on steam (but not on xbox and PS), but restrained for several countries.

This common in many games, I think it’s a optimisation thing where the engine is not allowed to have infinitely multiplying physics objects. I think the only game I have played that doesn’t do this is the Fallout games and they incidentally sometimes crash when bloody mess (or ony mass activation of physics objects) explosions occur.
