Unable to play existing Arbites character nor create new one

Issue Description (Required):

Purchased Arbites character DLC on XBox Store. Successfully created and played an Arbites character up to level 4 on Xbox One X. Subsequent game sessions, the character is visible but not selectable. And the Class is visible but not selectable as a new alt creation option. Have tried fully quitting and restarting the game. Fully quitting and hard restarting the console. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game and all locally saved Darktide data has also been attempted.

I can access my Arbites character only if I launch Darktide via XBox Cloud Gaming. Even after successfully accessing my Arbiter in Cloud Gaming, my console does not allow the character to be selected.

This is an issue caused by the Xbox Quick Resume, but it’s really odd that restarting the console hasn’t helped, and that you’re able to access it via the Cloud!

This is the sort of issue which will resolve on its own, but I can understand that’s not ideal. Could you let me know if it’s persisted in to today’s sessions?

I can see that the DLC entitlement remains active on your account, so there’s no concerns there.

Issue did not persist beyond Xbox console full shutdown and unplug from power for 5 minutes. Talk about a persistent gamestate…
