Transonic armor pen… real or just stance?
I’m not really clear on if the transonic razor actually changes it’s armor pen value, or if our ability to go into a single target stance is standing in for a ‘machine spirit changing it’s vibe.’
Is this a real change or just “we gave you stances use the right one”?

this is total nonsense, you just switch between moves suited for cleaving (with less first target damage) and ones more suitable for killing bulkier enemies (strikedowns with little cleave and better carapace/general damage). but there are push-stab combos on both stances that provide the move type the version you’re on lacks (2 sweeps for the single target mode and 2 strikes for the sweep mode).
Blades are not transonic, they are oversized shivs. Stance shifts between vanguard attacks and strikedown attacks, and they function like vanguard and strikedown attacks on any other weapon
i felt the transonic aspect was very understated as well
