Tower : Stuck in second tome room

Hello!

So in the above mentioned room with the bookshelves you can jump onto one that has a very suspicious open space behind it and a curtain above it, seemingly barely trying to hide it as if something´s there.

If you do jump through there though you are stuck and cant get out, and it does not take a dash or anything to get in there.

Here´s what it looks from the trapped space.

Same spot, it doesn’t have a skull back here, we both jumped through to be sure!

Other side of the room has a similar issue but there is a hole in the floor.

I don’t undersand why the choice was made to model the room this way.

Why make it look like a secret?
Why waste polygons if it has no use?
