Whoever it was was someone with personal knowledge of Inquisitor Grendyl. Possibly an advanced leader of the Admonition Cult or a sorcerer but most likely a daemon he’s faced before.
This is great news for my very deep and passionate (and honestly quite personal) old western prospector roleplay.
Oh, I meant including existing shovels The pickaxe-like strikes from the new Ogryn shovel looks sweet though. I feel like that’s gonna be an easy favourite for me with that animation alone.
There’s gonna be 5 lol, since there’s 3 additional shovels to 2 existing. Ogryn will have a full tool shed of melee weapons since he can hoe with his shovel too, hopefully he can get intimidating things now.
And unless I’m wrong both the Veteran shovels that aren’t used have strikedown attacks incorporating that same folding mechanic.
They’re a different Wyrmwood Agent, turns out that “Wyrmwood” is either a call sign or the name of an Inquisitorial spy agency.
NO! AGH- Slaanesh! Get out of my head, get out of my head, get out of my head, get out of my head, get out of my head, get out of my head, get out of my head, get out of my head, get out of my head, get out of my head, get out of my head!
Now, I don’t hate Krieg, but I do really hate the Redditors who like Krieg. Besides, a real Kriegsman lives and dies by his trench mace. Oh, and for the love of the Emprah, they’re not suicidal like Redditors pretend they are… they just don’t fear death and will gladly fall in battle if it’s necessary.
ROCK AND STONE!!!
Oops-
Shovels are fine, I’m happy to see new shovel marks, that’s not the problem. Adding any weapons or weapon marks to the game is always going to be a slap in the face since there is no reliable way to incorporate new weapons into a build. They could add the hellguns that everyone wants and it would only apply to the few users with gajillions of crafting resources saved up. Any new weapon is just a flashy invitation back to the casino.
Psyker’s left stone should be shorter, i can reach the mid stone and get key skill in left line & right line. But I can’t get all key element skill point when choose to select the warp stone. & That is absolutely ridiculous.
Why, pray tell?
“HAHA FUNNY GAS MASK NOISES CHARGE THE ENEMY TERMINATOR WITH A SHOVEL HAHAHAHAHA”
Ring any bells?
Literally me.
Grateful on all the new stuff, but disappointed at the lack of new weapons.
I would love to see the Melta, Bolt pistol, Plasma pistol, some light / heavy MGs for the Vet (as is portrayed on the left skill tree), two handed weps for the Vet, Ogryn, Psyker.
And for the love of the Emperor, dual wielding. Two swords, axes, different weapons, and most importantly, a pistol and a sword for the Vet.
Pretty please.
Their portrayal in lore varies extremely. Warriors of Ultramar has them as quite regular guard regiment, but the troopers uneducated and indoctrinated and the officers too stubborn to retreat in time. The Greater Good has them as phlegmatic professionals on combat drugs - but in both sources they are comprised of individuals who have names and prefer living to dying - although they face death with a grim determination that sets them apart from other regiments.
In Lyon’s short stories they are nameless combat drones with zero regard for themselves although the expenditure of life has to be “economical” in relation to the expected gain.
In the GW’s rule book it’s clear that death korps troopers have names and their quotes are definitaly emotional, sometimes full of gallows gumor - befetting far better their portrayal in the Greater Good or Warriors of Ultramar.
As with almost anything in fictional universes comprised by works of many different authors: One can choose one’s own head canon that fit’s best. I’ll go with GW’s version.
Agreed. Not every Krieger is the same, because despite the fact that they are soldiers, they are still individuals under their gas masks. I hate it when people portray ALL Kriegers as these inept, suicidal idiots who just rush the enemy with no real battle plan - they are a cohesive fighting force that utilises effective tactics to overwhelm the enemy, it just so happens that if they die in combat, they’ve atoned for Krieg’s betrayal.
After watching the trailer, I got the unpleasant feeling that the named bosses in this update are simply copied reskins of existing traitor captains with same combat moves.
I hope that there will be at least some unique mechanics in the battle with them. Something besides the fact that the fight is happening with both at the same time
How is time limited supposed to be understood here?
Is it: they are a combat encounter which will eventually disappear in the mission. (Time limited fight)
Or is it: they are a combat encounter that will eventually disappear from the game.
I bet it means “It will be gone, after the winter holidays”
