Why was Trench Fighter Drill nerfed down to a third and why was this not mentioned in the patch notes? I can only speak for myself, but this is beyond galling and I can’t help but feel misled.

Sadly cant check out then new Vet Keystones – still fighting with error above, cant find the “correct” Xbox Support channel to report this, and unfamiliar enough with Darktide Forums to have 0 ideas where to to post it so it gets seen, gonna end up missing the Cosmetics, too, and I was really looking forward to getting the Vet set

Reduced explosion damage on Monstrosities.

Can you elaborate on this? Is it for all explosion damage, or just environmental explosion damage?

I think that officially puts Veterans in the number 1 spot of “Highest number of nodes to reach a keystone”

I had expected some nodes to be reworked into Keystone upgrades.

EDIT: Is that confirmed kill at the very top of the tree? Veterans, rejoice, for your troubles are no more.

Thanks, but as much as I’d like to be excited, all the vet tree changes just makes me really, really hate this patch. It’s just…I’m going into the game now to play around with the tree but everything I heard and just read just doesn’t excite me one bit. Sure, the actual content patch is great, but everything else? I think the only thing I can be excited about is the bonding conversations. That is it. I literally had to make an account in the forums to express my genuine disappointment at the vet changes among other things. And that explosive damage change to monstrosities…come on, man, I haven’t even logged in and I can practically feel how disappointing the actual big boom grenades we have are gonna be against walking fleshbags.

EDIT: OH GOD, DID Y’ALL SERIOUSLY THINK WE WOULDN’T KNOW THE PASSIVE NERFS ON THE VET TREE???

Thanks for the notes and excited to see the update out already.

One issue - veterans talent Exhilarating Takedown was bugged so that it actually gave a damage increase to players instead of the intended decrease. Was this addressed? I didn’t see anything in the patch notes about it and it’s a pretty major bug! Thanks.

Sooner than I expected. Looking good.

Combing through the Veteran’s talent tree will take a bit.
Though if I read weapon specialist correctly, it essentially forces me to stay on my ranged weapon until close to enemies or I will waste my melee speed bonus? I hope not, because that just seems asinine.
Interesting weapon changes, too.

Still no fixes for female glove cosmetics. Still no changes to the crafting system. The “Vanguard bundle” was an insult rather than an attempt at giving back the players you insulted with the XBOX-launch. Still no opt-out of crossplay for steam users.
At this point, it’ll probably never be fixed. You keep milking your whales, Fatshark. I’m done with you. And I sincerely doubt I am the only one.

It is being worked on so should be fixed with the next patch!
