Sorry to hear this @bass, you appear to be running into a non-descript Access Violation crash and the underlying cause isn’t clear.

I recommend running through our general crash solutions, here:
https://support.fatshark.se/hc/en-us/articles/360021422873--PC-How-to-Resolve-Crashes-in-Vermintide-2

Hi @bass, just merged your other post here too. Looking at this, are you crashing only in Official realm and not in Modded realm?

If so, this would indicate a conflict with Easy Anti-Cheat. I recommend to try the following:

Add Anti-Virus and Firewall exceptions for both Vermintide 2 and Easy Anti-Cheat. You’ll need to add the following exceptions:

  • vermintide2.exe in \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\binaries
  • vermintide2_dx12.exe in \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\binaries_dx12
  • EasyAntiCheat_EOS.exe in C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat_EOS

Perform a ‘Selective Startup’ which can help to determine if a background application is the culprit:

  1. Press the Windows key
  2. Type ‘msconfig’ and select ‘System Configuration’
  3. On the ‘General’ tab, select ‘Selective Startup’
  4. Deselect ‘Load startup Items’
  5. Reboot your PC
  6. Launch Vermintide 2 as normal

If the error no longer persists after having performed the Selective Startup, you will need to re-enable each of your usual background applications one-by-one until the error reoccurs, to determine which is interfering with Easy Anti-Cheat.

Please let me know how you get on!

@bass, unfortunately we’ve not been able to identify any further clues from the new crash reports.

Please ensure you have latest Windows updates installed, and that your GPU drivers are fully updated also.

It’s a shot in the dark, but perhaps a clean reinstallation of Vermintide 2 may help (please note any custom settings e.g. graphics, keybinds etc. will be lost):
