Surge staff attacks blocked by obscura den cushions

I forgot to take a picture but it should be easy to replicate this. In the round obscura den room of the Warren mission there are a lot of cushions and crates scattered around the middle of the arena. Very often trying to fire surge staff lightning over one of those objects will result in a “dud” shot that just hits the ground in front of you instead of shooting over the obstacle to hit a target on the other side.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

Try to use the surge staff secondary attack at distant targets on the other side of terrain objects while in the obscura den.
