I don’t understand why the weekly events both in the campaign and in the chaos wastes are gated off from solo queue specifically. It completely deters me from wanting to queue them sequentially strictly for enjoyment. We’re so far into the life cycle of this game and it’s still this way

What do you mean? You can queue solo for the weekly events, it will connect you to a group if there’s one available with room.
OP means hosting a private game to play on your own. You can’t do that.

I get what you mean, it bothered me so much I went looking for a solution. Turns out there is a sanctioned mod that lets you use the ‘/host_toggle’ command before starting a weekly. Then you will always be host

It should be noted that it’s not foolproof and I’ve had cases where someone immediately joins my game as soon as I click play. Make sure to hold tab and click on private on the top right when you load in.

there is a mod to host quickplay. Host a map, start it immediately, private it as soon as you load in. kick anyone that joins. not perfect but it works most of the time.
