Hm, it appears to be a Deadlock crash triggered by something amiss with Steam. Is the crash reproducible at all?

That’s very funny, yes I can indeed reproduce this via the same steps it first happened and I wrote about in the post without mentioning the exact way I did it.

While playing VT2 I was using steam to play other game soundtracks, specifically Denshattack! and while listening to that I clicked on Haste’s soundtrack Heist!. It caused the crash the first time and I immediately was able to reproduce it without error.

Thanks for the added info! I’ve shared this with our engine developers to do some diggin’.

The same crash happens with Darktide too :joy:

@Harridas one of our developers has asked if you could please provide a crash report for this issue from Darktide too, as this may help with our investigation. Thanks in advance!

I can’t actually recreate this crash in Darktide, it freezes for a long time but it does not actually crash unlike Vermintide 2. Sorry.

Here’s the Darktide log for the freeze.

No problem! I’ll pass this on to our developers anyway in case it helps. Much appreciated!
